Sometimes looking down and looking closely brings rewards - these little flowers grow everywhere in the cracks of Hong Kong's pavements.

A commissioned piece for a friend who missed her home in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. Worked up in Eleanor McColl's Hong Kong studio.

Painted on a weekend course with Nick Archer (Rye Creative Centre). Initial sketches worked up on Pett Level Beach, East Sussex before returning to the garden studio for a couple of wonderful days of painting, laughing and great food.
